A public viewing for Akira Atobe, 75-year-old, Yamanashi-ken, Japan born Issei will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM at Kubota Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90015. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, CA 90601.

He is survived by his daughter, Christine (Tora) Yamaguchi; stepdaughter, Loreen (Keith) Watanabe; stepson, Steve (Tae) Yasui; grandchildren, Ryan and Andrew Yamaguchi, Ashley and Emi Watanabe, and Justin, Dylan, and Sean Yasui; also survived by other relatives.
