A private service for Alice Mae Taniyama, 95 year-old, Los Angeles, CA-born Nisei, who passed away on June 1, 2017 in Los Angeles was held at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary.

She is survived by her children, James (Sharon Cook) and Jeff (Harriet) Taniyama; Grandchildren, Hope Tanino, Keith (Janet) Taniyama, Stacie (Kevin) Walker, Brian (Karen) Taniyama, Lauren (Willy) Taniyama-Parrish, Sarah (Cody) Levene, April (Zack) Davis, Mandy (Uros Smolnik) Bible; Great grand children, Molly Walker, Virginia and Sabrina Davis and Kai Smolnik; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
