(97) passed away on August 13, 2016 in San Gabriel. She is predeceased by her husband, Jiro Oishi; sisters, Holly Murashige and Mary Ito, and survived by her children, Joanne (Alan) Kumamoto, Corrine (Lindley Morton) Oishi-Morton of Oregon, Kim Oishi; grandchildren, David (Tram Vo), Bryan, Kristin (Marc Blackburn) Kumamoto, Aya (Marco Materazzi) and Jane Ann (Karl Rapfogel) Morton; great-grandchildren, Justin, Dana, Arielle, Corey, Charles, Akemi, Lindley, Dario, Jared, and Jiro; brother, Jim Makino; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:00AM at the Mission Valley Free Methodist Church, 1201 S. San Gabriel Blvd., San Gabriel. Family welcomes casual attire. In lieu of flowers, guests are welcome to make donations in honor of her memory to the Mission Valley Free Methodist Church.
