A funeral service for Arthur Ichiro Murakami, 85 year-old, Long Beach, CA born Kibei Sansei, Veteran of Korean Conflict, who passed away on January 14, 2015 in Whittier, CA, will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM at The Pavilion at Industry Hills Expo Center, 16200 Temple Ave., City of Industry, CA, with Rev. Ryuta Furumoto from Senshin Buddhist Temple officiating. Family requested that flowers be omitted.

He is survived by his wife, Lena Murakami; children, Timothy (Norma) and Julia Murakami; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; mother, Yomiko Murakami; siblings, Richard (Masako), Eugene (Elaine) and Daniel Murakami, Bernice (Roy) Shiraga, and Katherine Otamura; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
