(91), Veteran of US Army, passed away on December 25, 2018 in Marina Del Rey. He is survived by his wife, Yoko Morikawa; daughters, Lori Morikawa, Debra (Bill) Sumida, Paige (Michael Kusumoto) Morikawa, and Kelly (Matthew) Bygum; grandchildren, Devon (Mona) Kobayashi, Raelen (Tony) Wong, Britt, Ashley and Bryce Sumida, Harlee Morikawa, Zachary, Cole, Cassidy and Peyton Bygum; five great-grandchildren; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives in the US and Japan.

A private memorial service was held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Mortuary.
