(86) passed away on May 11, 2017 in Los Angeles. She is survived by her brother, Ted (Tomiko) Akahori; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Ryuta Furumoto from Senshin Buddhist Temple officiating.
