(90) passed away on June 24, 2017 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife, Kiyomi Okino; children, Ronnie (Lana) and Kenneth Okino, and Irene (James) Maryoung; grandchildren, Lauren and Ashley Okino, and Alison and Ryan Maryoung; also survived by many other relatives in Japan.

A private funeral service was held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, with Rev. John Iwohara from Gardena Buddhist Church officiating.
