A private graveside funeral service for Carole Tomoye Hirata, 100 year-old, Elk Grove, CA-born Nisei, who passed away on April 4, 2024 in Gardena, was held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Green Hills Memorial Park.

She is survived by her sons, Ken (Mira), Dennis (Linda), David (Anne), and Don (Nancy) Hirata; six grandchildren; sisters-in-law; Bernice and Yoko Hirata; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
