A private graveside funeral service for Dorothy Mori Nakayu, 97 year-old, Inglewood, CA born Nisei who passed away on June 21, 2021 in Los Angeles, was held on July 20, 2021 at Green Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Ryuta Furumoto of Senshin Buddhist Temple officiating.

She is survived by her son, Hideo “Buddy” Nakayu Jr.; daughter, Patricia (Ira) Murobayashi; grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Murobayashi; sister, Sue Kuwata; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
