(86) passed away on October 30, 2015 in Hermosa Beach, CA. He is survived by his wife, Eriko Tani; daughters, Christine Tani and Lana (Daniel) Sofer; grandson, Ken Sofer; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Paul Nakamura from Lutheran Oriental Church officiating.
