(88), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, born in Santa Monica, CA passed away on December 5, 2012 after a prolonged illness. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Karl; and is survived by her children, Roger (Andrea) Nakazawa and Nancy (Mark) Yamazaki; grandchildren; Andy and Dante Nakazawa, Kiyoshi, Kenji and Mariko Yamazaki; siblings Mabel (James) Kitsuse, Helen (Mike) Hori, Ruth (Sada) Tachi, Reggie (Fumi) Shikami, Joe (Kikue) Shikami and Jimmy (Lois) Shikami; brother-in-laws, Albert (Alice) Nakazawa and the late Warren (Yone) Nakazawa; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 Florence found great joy in her family, friends and her painting. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Keiro Nursing Home and West Los Angeles United Methodist Church
