(92) peacefully passed away on April 20, 2013 in North Hollywood. She is survived by her daughters, Eileen Furukawa, and Karen (Adolfo) Suarez of Paris, France; son, Larry (Cecelia) Furukawa; grandchildren, Bryan and Christy Furukawa and Victor Suarez of NY, NY; sister, Kiyoko (Hideo) Hikida; sister-in-law, Hisano Kudo; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 10:00AM at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles with Reverend Karen Fay Ramos-Young of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating.
