(91), veteran of WWII, passed away on November 29, 2014 in Lakewood, CA. He is survived by his children, Curtis (Valerie) Masumiya and Craig (Sho) Masumiya; grandchildren, Allison and Joseph Masumiya, Katrina (Richard) Winiarski, Kelly Masumiya; great-grandson, Kaz Winiarski; brother, Ted (Judy) Kanekuni; sister, Mary Ito; sister-in-law, Amy Masumiya; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11:00AM at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., LA with Rev. Paul Nakamura from Lutheran Oriental Church officiating. Graveside burial service immediately following at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
