(92) passed away on May 30, 2018 in Chino Hills, CA. She is survived by her children, Elsie and Wesley Kawato; sister, May Hashimoto; brothers, Shigenari (Michiko) Hirai, and Kohei Tanabe of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives in the US and Japan.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 2:00PM at Zenshuji Soto Mission, 123 S. Hewitt St., Los Angeles.
