A private funeral service for Grace Takeko Tamae, 84 year-old, Kauai, HI born Nisei, who passed away on August 11, 2015 in Gardena, was held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Green Hills Memorial Park with Bishop Taisen Miyata from Koyasan Buddhist Temple officiating.

She is survived by her son, Vincent (Elaine) Tamae; grandson, Steven Tamae; sister, Yuriko Unten; brothers-in-law, Seiki (Yoko) and Robert (Lisa) Tamae; sisters-in-law, Clara Uyema and Betty (Seizu) Ganeku; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
