(79), long time owner of Kubota Mortuary passed away on November 29, 2018 in Monterey Park. He is survived by his wife, Kiyoe Kathy Suzuki; children, Marcia (Koji) Sakai and Nina (Wilson Tam) Suzuki; grandchildren, Takao W. Sakai, Alison Chie and Ryan Hiroshi Tam; siblings, Takuya (Ryoko) Suzuki and Noriko Mishina, the latter from Japan; brother-in-law, Yoshihiro (Miyoko) Otomo from Japan; sisters-in-law, Hiroe (Tomoyuki) Takahashi, Chigako (Katsunobu) Shiina and Kuniko (Tomio) Otomo all from Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 2:00PM at LA Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., LA. The family request for flowers to be omitted.
