(89), passed away on October 29, 2018 in Culver City. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Hisako Nakagawa, and is survived by his sons, Stan (Jane Aiko Yamano) and Doug (Aimee) Nakagawa; granddaughters, Mia Aiko Yamano-Nakagawa, Skylar Jean Nakagawa, and Riley Grace Nakagawa; sisters, Reiko Nakamura and Hisae (Tom) Kotow; sister-in-law, Shimeko Nakagawa; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the West Los Angeles Buddhist Temple.
