(89), veteran of WWII, passed away on January 6, 2016 in Hawthorne. He is predeceased by wife Sumiko, sister Umeko Irene and brother-in-law Masaru Bob Nakagiri and survived by his siblings, Mitsuo Tsushima of Sacramento, CA, Tomiye Mary Nakagiri, Frank (Hideko) and Hiroshi (Sumako) Tsushima, May (Keigo) Obata of Fresno, CA, Tadashi Tsushima of San Juan Capistrano, CA and Isamu Tsushima of Riverside, CA; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Chapel of Pacific Crest Cemetery with Rev. Kory Quon from Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
