He is pre-deceased by his wife Diane Nagatani and survived by his children, Patrick (Leigh Anne), Nick (Wendy), and Scott Nagatani; six grandchildren; one great grandson; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A private service was held at Senshin Buddhist Temple.
