A private funeral service for Katsuo K. Akazawa, 89 year-old, Kagoshima, Japan born Issei, who passed away on December 31, 2016 in Winnetka, CA, was held at Green Hills Memorial Park. 

He is survived by his children, David Akazawa, Joyce (Steve) Fujimoto, Grace (Mike Necci) Akazawa; six grandchildren; one brother and sisters-in-law in Japan; also survived by many other relatives in Japan
