(93) passed away on January 13, 2017 in Torrance. She is survived by her children, Joyce (Harvey) Yoshino, Joanne (Wilfred) Nakata, Jim (Lorna Akemi) Okamoto; grandchildren, Taeko (James) Buck of IL, Christine (Scott) Toy, Scott Yoshino, Grant (Jo) Nakata, Toni and Elyse Okamoto; great-grandchildren, Mayumi and Max Buck of IL, Tyler Toy; siblings, William (Asayo) Takigawa and Susan (Frank) Morimoto; sister-in-law, Kachan Maruyama; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private graveside service was held at Green Hills Memorial Park.
