A private graveside funeral service for Kazue Totsubo, 99 year-old, Yokohama, Japan-born Issei, who passed away on February 17, 2024 in Los Angeles, was held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Inglewood Park Cemetery, with Rev. Ryuta Furumoto from Senshin Buddhist Temple officiating.

She is predeceased by her husband, Jack Totsubo, and survived by her children, Suzanne Toji, Jamie and Ronald (Geri) Totsubo; grandchildren, Jared and Kirk (Grace) Nishikawa, Marcus (Erin) Toji, Brian (Kathleen) and Mia (Theodore Worcestor) Hamano, Emma and Leah Totsubo; four great-grandchildren; sister Hiroko Nojima; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
