(97), veteran of WWII, passed away on November 28, 2016 in Santa Monica. He is survived by his children, Glenn and Cathrine Takazaki; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, with Rinban Noriaki Ito from Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.
