(75), passed away on April 3, 2016 in Torrance. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Shimada; sons, Ward and Warren Shimada; siblings, Masayuki (Shirley) and Keiko Shimada; nephew, Martin (Emily) Shimada; nieces, Dawn Yoshida and Midori (Ian) Towler.
