(78) passed away on April 20, 2012, in Pasadena. He is survived by his wife, Takako Okamoto; children, Yoshio (Dana) Okamoto and Sachiko (Jim) DeVito; step-daughters, Tomoko (Stanley) Arai and Yasuko (Scott) Kujiraoka; sisters, Umeko Yamamoto and Setsuko (Yoshihiro) Kawahara, both of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 7:00PM at LA Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. 1st St., LA.
