(74) passed away on July 16, 2016 in Alhambra. She is predeceased by her son, Deric “Otto” Higashi, and survived by her children, Lisa, Kelly (Judy) and Ali Higashi; granddaughter, Dominique Higashi; siblings, Frances Mitsu (Tosh) Sugiyama, Yoshio (Julie), John Tadao (Jean) and Kei (Laurie) Teramoto; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A private memorial service to be held at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary.
