A private funeral service for Matsue Fujikado, 95 year-old, Ehime-ken, Matsuyama-shi, Japan born Issei, who passed away on December 21, 2016 in Gardena was held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple. 

She is survived by her children, Raymond Fujikado and Emiko (John) Murakawa; granddaughters, Tammy Fujikado of Hawaii, Stacy (Duane) Kong of Hawaii, Dr. Dawnalyn (Dr. Dan Leopard) Murakawa; grandsons, Christopher Fujikado, Dr. Justin (Dr. Robyn) and Mitchell Murakawa; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Treyton Kong of Hawaii, Vance and Chase Tokita of Hawaii, Jennalee and Jeremy Leopard, Tamlyn Murakawa; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives in Japan.
