A private funeral service for Michiko Taniguchi, 77 year-old, Osaka, Japan born Issei, who peacefully passed away on December 1, 2012 in Los Angeles, was held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Tomoyoki Hasegawa from Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating. 

She is survived by her husband, Yoshio Taniguchi; son, Paul Hiroshi Taniguchi; also survived by many other relatives in Japan.
