(89) passed away on October 30, 2016 in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. She is survived by her husband, Henry Karatsu; sons, Michael (Jane) and Marty Karatsu; grandchildren, Matthew and Kimi Karatsu; sister, Shiori Maruno; brother-in-law, Dr. Hideo Karatsu; sisters-in-law, Miwako Hayami, Mary and Jeanne Karatsu; also survived by many other relatives.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11:00AM at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., R.P.V., with Pastor Daniel Matsuda from Gardena Valley Baptist Church officiating.
