A graveside funeral service for Minoru Shigezane, 96-year-old, veteran of U.S. Army, Los Angeles, Calif.-born Nisei who passed away on March 3, 2025, in South El Monte, Calif., was held Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Forest Lawn Covina Hills.

He is survived by his son, Randy Shigezane; sister, Yuri Fukui; brother-in-law, Peter (Beverly) Shintaku; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
