(77) passed away on June 20, 2014 in Gardena. She is survived by her children, Robert and Richard (Katherine) Takata and Julie (Shawn) Stafford; grandson, Grant Stafford; siblings, Miye Nishimoto and Jim (Michi) Nozaki; brothers-in-law, Paul Hamasaka and Howard (Helen) Takata; sister-in-law, Barbara (Yosh) Ishida; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

A private memorial service was held on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Hidemi Ito from Faith United Methodist Church officiating.
