A memorial service for Rose Tsuruko Sugai, 95 year-old, Roosevelt, WA born Nisei, who peacefully passed away on June 14, 2021 in Los Angeles, will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2:00PM at Venice Free Methodist Church, 4871 Centinela Ave., Los Angeles. Additional parking is available at Venice Japanese Community Center, 12448 Braddock Dr., Los Angeles.

She is survived by her children, Edwin (Debra) Sugai of IL, Laura (David) Mancha of NM, Raymond (Teresa) Sugai of Vacaville, CA, and Alan (Cathy) Sugai; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sister, Chiyo Tanaka of OR; sisters-in-law, Alyce Watanabe of San Diego and Michi Sugai of San Francisco; also survived by many other relatives.
