(88) passed away on April 7, 2012 in Torrance. He was predeceased by his sister, Suzuye Fukuzaki and is survived by his wife, Eileen Fusaye Takemoto; children, Dr. Ronald (Jo Ann) Takemoto, Linda (Rex) Hayashi, and Dr. Mary Ann (Tony) Kwan; granddaughters, Tina and Grace Hayashi; sisters, Ayako Nakatani, Mitzi Okazaki, and Fusako (James) Morita; sister-in-law, Mickey (Bill) Yamaguchi; brother-in-law, Roy Vaughn; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St. Gardena.
