(97) passed away on February 23, 2017 in Los Angeles. He is predeceased by his wife, Fumie Shimabukuro; sisters, Misao Oshiro and Sumi Asato and survived by his children, Keith and Marilyn (Gilbert Leong) Shimabukuro; grandson, Ross Leong; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00AM at Senshin Buddhist Temple, 1311 W. 37th St., LA.
