(91) Terminal Island, CA born Nisei, passed away on March 27, 2016 in Los Angeles. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 2:00PM at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes with Rinban Noriaki Ito from Higashi Hongashi Buddhist Temple officiating.

She is survived by her son, Yoshihiro Tabata of Japan; granddaughters, Shiori Tina (Hung Ho) and Shino Ellen (Amri Christianto) Sugawara; five great-grandchildren; brother, Sadao Takeuchi; niece, Debra Takeuchi; also survived by many other relatives in the U.S. and Japan.
