A memorial service for Shunyo Nakazono, 91 year-old, Seattle, Washington-born Kibei-Nisei, who passed away on September 13, 2018 in Gardena, will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles with Rev. Dr. Richard Kuyama officiating.

He is survived by his children, Stanley Harumitsu Nakazono of New York, Yuriko (Masashi) Shikai, Terry and Thomas Taketaka (Akari) Nakazono; grandchildren, Sayuri and Yurika Shikai, Kai Nakazono; half-sister, Junko Kuroda of Japan; also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
