A funeral service for Sumako Iwahashi, 95 year-old, Alameda, CA born Nisei, who peacefully passed away on March 21, 2014 was held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Kubota Nikkei Mortuary.

She is survived by her sister, Aiko (Shuichi) Ito; nephew, Michael Ito of Virgina; niece, Motomi Handa; grandniece, Kazuko (Michael) Namba; grandnephew, Todd (Hilda) Handa; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
