(88) peacefully passed away on March 13, 2013 in Thousand Oaks. She is survived by her husband, Wesley Koyano; children, Duane (Karen) Koyano and Yoko (Wayde) Shimoda; granddaughters, Kiku and Kelly Koyano, and Rachel Shimoda; siblings, Tom Tochihara, Hatsuko Moriguchi and Katherine Doi; in-laws, Setsuko (Roy) Mikawa of Oklahoma City, OK, Roy Koyano, Arthur (Tamiko) Koyano of Denver, CO, and Lily (Bernie) Brenes of Lake Tahoe, CA; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 10:30AM at Venice Santa Monica Free Methodist Church, 4871 Centinela Avenue, LA. Additional parking will be available at the Venice Japanese Community Center, 12448 Braddock Drive, LA.
