(92) peacefully passed away on January 31, 2013 in Santa Monica. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary Naito; son, Melvin Naito; survived by his children, Naomi, Larry (DJ), and Arthur Naito; siblings, Sayuri Watanabe, and Chiyoko Satake; brother-in-law, Sam (Lillian) Kusaka; sister-in-law, Kate Odahara; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A private service will be held.
