July 20, 1922 – April 20, 2021 Tom Yutaka Nakashima, 98 year-old, Los Angeles, CA born Nisei peacefully passed away on April 20, 2021 in Los Angeles. He was the second and middle child of Hashigoro and Tsune Nakashima. A private funeral service was held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Senshin Buddhist Temple with Rev. Ryuta Furumoto officiating.

He is predeceased by his brother, Joe Noboru Nakashima and is survived by his sister, Sumiko Hayamizu; nieces, Cathy Iyemura, Susan (Gregory) Myers of New Jersey, and Terry Hayamizu of Maine; also survived by many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
