(91), Veteran of the Armed Forces, passed away on January 23, 2013 in Glendale. He is survived by his daughters, Kathy (Mark) Wooster of San Diego, Jean (Dr. Karl) Kawakami and Nora Kubota; five grandchildren; sister, Masayo Rachi of Japan; brother-in-law, Kyoji Uchiyama of Japan; sisters-in-law, Teruko Uchiyama of Japan, and Michiye Kubota; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in US and Japan.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 5:00PM at L.A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. 1st St., LA, CA.
