passed away on October 24, 2014 in Fullerton, CA. She is survived by her husband, Hideki Yamanaka; sons, Kerry, Chris and Rich Kanemitsu; step-daughter, Gwen Avila; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

A private memorial service was held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Montebello Plymouth Congregational Church.
