NOZAWA, UMEKO “CHIKAKO” (89) passed away on April 23, 2020 in Gardena. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Dick Nozawa, and is survived by her children, Diane (Paul) Handley, Irene Freitas and Dennis (Emmy) Nozawa; grandsons, Brett, Cory (Wendy), Kyle (Christine) Freitas, and Bailey Nozawa; great-grandson, Kenji Freitas; son-in-law, Keith Freitas; sister, Miya (George) Tanaka; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Umeko Nozawa is the greatest Mother In-law anyone could have. She was caring, loving, kind and understanding of not only me, her Grand Children and others.
I will miss her deeply.
