A private graveside service for Virginia Hideko Arii, 93 year-old, Los Angeles, CA-born Nisei, who passed away on February 22, 2019 in Yorba Linda was held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Green Hills Memorial Park, with Rev. Barry Deguchi from Catalyst Christian Community officiating.

She is survived by her children, Don (Sachi) Arii, Catherine (John Hindmarsh) Rush, Robert (Dayna) and Kelvin (Donna) Arii; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur (Mary) Takemura; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
