She is survived by her four children and their relatives. Ron; daughters Jennifer (Atsushi Komiyama; great grandchildren, Asaki, Taiki and Aki), Amy (Justin Saito; great grand children, Nathan and Rylie), Lauren (Enrique Mendosa). Rich (Barbara; daughters Shannon, Stephanie (William; great grand son, Oliver), and Sami Ann(Joe Ginzburg). Carrie (Mike Oi; sons Chris (Felixx) and Nic). Pam (Efrem Bergman; daughter Rebecca). She is also remembered fondly by many close family friends.

Yaeko worked at Fedco where she made many life long friends. After the passing of her husband, Yoshio, she adopted many cats who brought her joy each day.
