A funeral service for Yoshimi Asoka, 84 year-old, Terminal Island, CA born Nisei, who passed away on June 22, 2015 in LA will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at 10:00AM at Mission Valley Free Methodist Church, 1201 S. San Gabriel Blvd., San Gabriel. 

She is survived by her husband, Masaki Asaoka; sisters-in-law, Toshiko Komatsu and Tamiko Shiji, both from Japan and Ayako Nunotani; brother-in-law, Masato Yoshihara; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
