A private funeral service for Yozo Hayashi, 74 year-old, Osaka, Japan born Issei, passed away on June 6, 2014 in Torrance, was held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Nobuo Miyaji from Gardena Buddhist Church officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Kayoko Hayashi; son, Yoichiro Hayashi; one sister and two brothers of Japan; one sister-in-law of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in Japan.
